“I wanted to thank you for organising a brilliant holiday and epic trip, riding the Raid is an experience that will last me a lifetime. The scheduling throughout the trip was great, I always felt that things were under control but never under pressure. We were left with all the information needed to complete each leg alone, but we knew there would be support at hand should we need it. Having experienced other supported tours from large UK based companies, this was much better and more friendly.I know I will be back again next year, and maybe even do the route east to west.My only regret is not getting to see the Lanterne Rouge !”
Stephen Butcher, GS Henley, England. Raid Pyreneen September 2010.
“The aches and pains are nearly gone! Many thanks for organising a fantastic Raid. I found it very difficult at times, but hugely rewarding when I reached Cerbere. When I was struggling up the Tourmalet the Mediterranean seemed so far away. The level of support and organisation that you provided on the route was exceptional and certainly enhanced the experience. Your knowledge of the cols is second to none. I would recommend all cyclists to consider this event with yourself. Thanks again.”
Liam Butler, Wolftrap Cycling Club, Co. Offaly, Ireland. Raid Pyreneen September 2010
“I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for last week. Doing the Raid was a fantastic experience and it was made all the more enjoyable by the fact the week was so well-organised and all (!) we had to focus on was the riding. Your expert knowledge of the route and the challenges ahead each day were invaluable and helped us prepare for what was to come.I very much intend to be back out to see you in Saint Savin next year to enjoy some more great riding!”
Andy Bocking, GS Henley, England. Raid Pyreneen September 2010
“I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say how much I enjoyed last week. The organisation was excellent; the hotels while diverse in character were perfect for what we needed and the food each night was plentiful and enjoyable rather than simply fuel to get us up the cols the next day. Your support around the route with bananas, water, jelly beans or just encouragement was always a welcome boost. Ensuring I was able to get a new seatpost and saddle on the Monday morning was obviously a key factor in my success in getting to Cerbere! I’ll certainly recommend Velopeloton to anyone who asks me about doing the Raid in the future.”
James Cunningham, London Dynamo, Raid Pyreneen September 2010.
“Hi Paddy, just thought we’d drop you a line to say what a great time we had while staying with you last week.
